Just started the game and finished the first mission. Looks like they have an interesting system. Cover seems like it matters less than in XCOM.
I don't know if I will get as excited about this as XCOM because I find the XCOM story more compelling since I have sort of given up on Star Wars...
Leaving EA finally in a few weeks. Hoping that they open up a test branch soon we can get an early start. For once, I'd like to get a team together that has the balls to push to the end game.
I was drawn to join the closed testing. Last I tried the game, it seemed pretty rough to me, but I didn't have a lot of patience for it. Last I heard they were re-doing all of the classes which doesn't seem like a great time to join a closed beta. Where does all of that stand?
Besides the dogshit UI monkey motions, this is one of the first things I noticed. Why is the town so FUCKING HUGE and empty? I guess if you can get past the running simulator aspects and EQ UI, maybe there is an enjoyable game there? I had high hopes for this but it's looking like a pass for me.
After having beaten WotC, I assume @General Antony also enjoys whacking his balls with a framing hammer, because that is what I imagine LWotC being like.
I go back and forth on what I think is behind the UFO phenomenon. All we have are a lot of claims but nothing I would call decisive proof. Nothing that shows beyond any doubt that NHIs are here.
