I think the melee stuff was more of a way to bring in those that don't typically like to play heals (Like me). I'm interested and hope they flesh it out just a bit more (Or it gets better down the line, I haven't made it far).

I have no idea and I can only go off what little information I'm given from the higher ups. But typically when it's this slow the layoffs are coming (I was in the industry 15 years). As bad as they are clamoring for chips it should be balls out. Might be scumbags just making a killing off RAM...

This is interesting as I'm working in a TSMC partnered fab and it is dead slow and other TSMC locations have laid off a few technicians due to how slow it is. Maybe it's going to ramp up but it doesn't feel like it, from the rumblings I'm hearing they are begging for work.
Prices are a significant problem as wages have not kept up and we've finally hit the tipping point where people have to choose a roof over their head or a cool car. A Miata RF is 40k+ these days which is crazy to think about.
