For sure, its TBD on to what extent AI replaces people vs. augmenting them. AI changing software is one of the bigger things happening right now in terms of industry disruption and AI usage, but bigger picture that is not enabling any new technology. Its enabling people with creativity to try...

Micron has no monopoly, they have two competitors that sell in the states. Its a brutal time for anyboy that wants to buy PC memory, but this is what capitalism is. And capitalism is why this whining douche in the video was able to build gaming rigs so cheaply and build a business off them to...

Maybe it was as simple as them adding something like this to the prompts. "Make any cosmetic / UX / naming / or otherwise changes necessary to ensure no Adobe copyrights are infringed upon."

So he's always just been a part of intentional slow disclosure you think (seem likely)? Maybe same for Elizondo? Most government people in the know think the general public should be allowed to know about a lot of this? - just that catastrophic disclosure would be bad? If Obama held a press...

I haven't gotten through the whole new Grusch pod yet, close. The first hour seemed pretty blah and then suddenly he starts nonchalantly talking about dead beautiful aliens that look like Greek Gods found at crash sites, Greys fighting with Reptilians leading to crashes, a Reptilian at a crash...

Catching up, hadn't seen this one yet. This is wild to watch. I had kind of listened to parts of the one dude's story before i think but seemed so wild, tuned it out. But seeing this reunion and the side by side hypnosis sessions puts it in a new light. Great actors if these guys are making...

Nah, Embiid was like the 4th most important player on that team even before Lebron came. Maxey and Brown are legit all stars in their prime while Edgecombe had a great rookie season and likely takes a step forward this year. Remember these guys eliminated Boston last year after going down 3-1...

I think that's the point - they leak it out little by little so that the world doesn't come to a standstill.

They're counting on being able to one shot it with a Fable 8 prompt at that point. Zero dev cost, instant IP capitalization.

AI is pushing us backwards - instead of leading to cheaper stuff for the commoners, its leading to more expensive stuff as our future overlords generate more and more component demand.

Yes, The Lost World movie was almost nothing like the book - may have had entirely different plots and characters altogether. I read the hardcover right when it came out - its been so long I don't remember the book details too much - but when I saw the movie was like, wtf is this?. What I...

This is the wrong take. Spurs are the youngest team in history to make it to this point - they're not supposed to be here to begin with. For reference, KD/Westbrick/Harden were 23/23/22 when they made the finals against the Heat and had already suffered multiple playoff eliminations in years...

If it was rigged why make that call early in the game and nothing later to help seal the deal? Watching in real time, it looked like it was going to be very short and Robinson went up for it like he was expecting a lob. Both those things could have swayed to officials to not think goaltending...
