Yeah, they usually aren't completely retarded when they ask for stuff, though they value hp way more than a player would. Main exception is probably paladin tanks, who always want dps weapons.

AFAIK that's just an AI thing - Reavers do huge damage if they don't click buttons and just autoattack, but the AI wants to click all the buttons so spends their entire time lifetapping themselves for more mana. Windblade might be similar ? Haven't tried them as a player, but as a sim they are...
