No ship combat right? I'd love something that mixed freelancer and mass effect. Starfield failed to deliver that.

I'll probably pull for Rossi when i get done with my vacation, level her and then go back to playing Laev. "Let that twilight burn!". Saving currency is boring and i have all the limited banners so far.

    Everquest Legends

Nothing is more convenient than overwhelming power. Do they have an option to just buy a character that has done all the content so you can avoid playing the game entirely? Just roll a character on a live EQ server and give them random gear. You can solo all the content EQL will ever release.

    Everquest Legends

I haven't seen any features of EQL that wouldn't just be better as a TLP if they could code it. Multiclass, whatever OP stuff enables soloing the game and with group sizes of 4? Sure, why not? I'm not paying full price for something i can get by rolling a ranger or druid persona on live.

I'd recommend the Ripple system. It's a squad based litrpg book with a very funny talking axe and straight man MC to make fun of. Good system, lots of humor like Chrysalis and DCC.

Like Arbitrary says a krono is fine. I don't know of any reward granted to someone who pays $ that isn't granted for popping a krono.

Is this that strong or a build? Looks like he's just punching shields lol

    Everquest Legends

Frostreaver is going to be an easy mode loot pinata server with slow unlocks, so you can get multiple personas raid geared before new content releases. EQL is probably going to be similar, just something you can clear content in and quit until more content is released.

    Everquest Legends

Every conventional combo sounds like a ranger, paladin, bard, Shadow Knight or beastlord but stronger. I wonder what combos will be good for a 4box group. Probably doesn't matter since the game will be trivial.
  14. Tuco

    Everquest Legends

Yeah, live EQ as a proficient 6 boxer is more like a party based ARPG with a very high APM ceiling and fast kill mob speeds (15s). Unfortunately there really isn't a way to make that kind of gameplay accessible to most of the potatoes that play EQ without neutering the game for people like me.

    Everquest Legends

A game holding your interest for a year is a pretty long time. I don't know what about a soloable EQ would hold your interest for longer. Like, once you beat the content why would you farm it without a community to keep the game interesting?

Hmm, maybe I'm confused about the feature but isn't precise jump is just a way for the player to specify a location they are jumping to. The other option is to take the Assassin's Creed approach and let the game decide where you want to jump. This worked well most of the time in Aassassin's...

I would've loved precise jump in Elden Ring. Any of the jumping puzzles in ER felt like playing QWOP This is the easiest jumping puzzle in any game ever, but in Elden Ring it's a complete ball buster.

    One Piece

Yeah. The actors aren't children but they still have a limited amount of time if they want to move the story forward. We don't need a middle aged Luffy finding the one piece.

I'm listening to the chrysalis series he narrates and he also adds a tremendous amount of context through the narration. I wonder how much is narrator/producer driven vs the author interacting with the recording process. I guess audiobook sales surpass ebook/book sales for DCC, so it makes sense...

Finished season 2, excellent show. I love how unapologetic they are about aligning to the manga. Smoker with two giant cigars is a great example of them embracing the source material and making it work.

I'm enjoying this game but know ill enjoy it a ton more once they figure out some improvements to the controls. AI: The Rise of the Machines... Or Just a Lot of Overhyped Chatbots?

Arrays vs lists is one of the great "Bike Shed" ( Law of triviality - Wikipedia ) traps of code reviews. Best way to handle those discussions (besides just changing to whatever data structure is appropriate, which is suprisingly array more often than people think...) is to profile the difference...

Yeah I get what you're saying. I don't remember specifics about it. I just remember . Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

I could only play Starfield if they basically redid everything and with a different team. The game design at a high level, sci-fi adventure + exploration + procedural + space combat is extremely appealing to me, but the team missed nearly every mark starting with the setting. My ideal game I...
