Oh yeah, the wolves in retrospect make a littttle more sense given that the Plurbs are scavenging the entire planet at an industrial scale, literally one of the few mammal corpses in the city of ABQ not under Pluribus' possession might've been Carol's girlfriend. It was still dumb because...

    Pluribus

Yes. Sort of. I think they are consolidating massively across the globe as they are starving. Or something. And they have 13 little pockets of fake activity for the uninfected. Some pockets, like ABQ, are larger than others because the dumbass infected ask for the lights on. The fact that some...

You are and they didn't. You may as well be arguing that the guy playing poker against Diabate wasn't playing realistically. The plurbs will do anything to keep a charade up for an uninfected.

You're assuming: They abandoned ABQ, rather than just pulling out a majority of its population They aren't literally following her around with a convoy of trucks with random shit she likes, all while the entire planet is basically starving to death. While basically doing something similar for...

If the writer needed to halt Manousos, what better way than to show the effect of dehydration in an inhospitable terrain using the unique features? It did exactly what it needed to, get him to take help from the Hive and possibly incapacitate him for them to attempt conversion. These kinds of...

I enjoyed the last episode. Anyone not buckled up and ready for long drawn out episodes as a core part of the show isn't paying attention. I would've enjoyed if the entire episode was Manousos driving through South America and ending at the Darien Gap. I knew the Darien Gap was going to be a...

    Cyberpunk 2077

I did almost all the builds and i think knife throwing build was my favorite, just turning the corner and yeeting s knife at some dude's face was so rewarding. How does that work with a gamepad though? It seems too imprecise.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Mouse/Keyboard is superior for Cyberpunk 2077. Some builds (Netrunner, smart weapons, which are extremely powerful....) you can do just fine on the hardest difficulty with controller, but the builds with aiming are best on mouse/kb.

This is possible but I'm thinking it'll go like this: 1. Diabate continues to live in luxury through season 1 2. At some point in the end of season 1 or season 2, the natural conclusion of a pacifist lifestyle will result in the Plurbs no longer being able to support his nonsense 3. Diabate...

I love the show. I'm also watching Stranger Things, note how I'm not putting walls of words out, because the show is too dumb to be worth considering, much less discussing anything in detail.

    Anno 117: Pax Romana

I'm going to try to ally with the barbarian, Voada, if only to get this Accolade. I did some reading about how others were defeating Caeso. I did something like this with a leading ship that tried juking the enemy, but I didn't have nearly the success they did. I'd try it again if I had to...

    Anno 117: Pax Romana

My save is moving along. I enjoyed the raiders in Latium but once I decided to defeat them holy hell was I greeted with the most tedious conquer mechanic ever. The Sicilian Hedgehog is just bolted into such a hostile base with unbelievably tough catapults and scorpions surrounding it. There...

No way to know really, could be maniacally benevolent, could be totally hostile and they've conquered a million worlds just like Earth and find this is easiest. Could be a defensive strategy where they blast out cuck rays blindly in the universe as a protective measure.

If it's a weaponized virus to eradicate sentient life, the different treatment between human slaves and every other organism tracks very well. Them treating Carol and her 12 disciples different is of course not explained by that, unless they've got crossed wires between enslavement and...

Yeah, we don't have enough information to really understand their logical consistency. We saw them mind rape the sentient species on an entire planet in the first episode, but they draw the line at taking a stem cell sample. btw: Vince Gilligan's first cameo in one of his shows, it's a bust of...

I'd go the other way and say that milking a dairy cow is a violation of their rules. You can't milk a dairy cow without implicitly infringing on its freedom. Once you make an exception to that by saying it's good for them, you can then argue toward symbiotic intervention elsewhere whether it's...

@Sylas after the last episode, stock in #1b: Alien extinction of sentient life or #2b: Peace through no sentients is at an all time high. For #1b, the alien just wants another garden planet without any pesky sentients, and in this world sentients are frequently susceptible to RNA from cuck...

I was thinking along the same lines too, but somewhat more pessimistically. Unless they have a strong drive to effectively build a food pyramid where the bottom 50-80% of humanity feeds the top 50-20% OR they just kill all but a few million, humans are 99% extinct in a single year. I just don't...

This show is so hard to watch. Way too many characters and they're even introducing more with a large investment of screentime. Turning the original cast into supporting characters for Joyce, Robin and Nancy makes me think the target audience is now middle-aged women. Holly is just weird, they...

The catchup mechanic is not great. You can buy a level 100 heroic character for $35 that has a bunch of gear, AAs, and then autogrant up a few more expansions, up till ToL i believe. The problem is there are very few ways to group at level 100, so you're in a grouping desert until level 125ish...

I think this theory has some merit. The hive mind is the basis for Judeo-Christian religion (and maybe others...) and after seeing how they failed to make a peaceful mankind they are going to forcibly turn it back into the Garden of Eden. Interesting note: Carol might be the anti-christ and...

How will we communicate to aliens??? Is one of the fun concepts of scifi. I would contend any advanced species can communicate over the electromagnetic spectrum, it's just a matter of interpretting the date. After aliens in Contact taught Jodie Foster to build an interdimensional gateway I think...

I hope it's a massive feat of engineering that's required, and that the entire planet is being dedicated to build a similar communication device to send a response to that planet. Yeah. It's interesting when a show primarily shows things from an isolated POV because it gives the opportunity to see things Carol and thus the audience, doesn't have enough info to understand. Compare that to Battlestar Galactica where there were an abundance of scenes watching these two...
