Game Pass for Xbox and PC

Yeah, pretty much the only hope for a decent deal is ~$25 90-day cards on Black Friday (which is what people used to do before the cheap XBL codes became a thing, so I guess it's not too horrible). Assuming the price hike doesn't happen before BF anyway, or else they'll be $30+ instead.

MS would be 100x better off if the Activision sale had been blocked.

You can still do it with 12 month Gamepass Core codes. I bought 3 for $50 each recently and then did the upgrade. Not as cheap as the 3 month codes you're talking about but still way better than buying Ultimate.

I wanted to find more info on her. Wikipedia doesn't have dates for school or anything. Nothing in Google. Ahhh, but I'll use a Microsoft product to get info on the president of Xbox. She went to Yake for economics, then Harvard business school. Then started her career as an associate at a consulting firm, then a senior role at T-Mobile and ta-dah she's leading a video game "platform" helping shape the future of the "service."

Must be great to be so.... talented and experienced. I hope she continues to "dedicate her career to transforming cultures" because I'm feeling a bit too privileged when I play video games.

All you really need to know is that she worked at McKinsey.

This completely explains the turmoil over there. Street shitters and women are going to destroy the tech industry in the country.

It's too bad they didn't add Lords of the Fallen closer to release. Every patch that came out while I had it from GameFly made the game worse and worse. Retards couldn't be bothered fixing simple bugs that massively impacted the played based on what region they were in, but they could dump out a hotfix to make it nigh impossible to kill one stupid enemy on practically a daily basis. Pretty much the story for every change they made: Benefits player in some way? Patch immediately, and nerf it so much that no one will ever think about using that thing again (which was super fun when your build was set up for it and now you have to farm a ton of shit to move to some other build, which would just get nerfed a couple days later). Bug or stupid design that makes the game suck in some way? Fuck it, it stays. I'm sure the multiple-times-a-week patch cycle is long over now, but it was really fucking annoying at the time. And I suspect the state it ended up in is still a downgrade from how it began.

Unpatched, it was a pretty decent attempt at a souls-clone.
