What exactly does the publisher bring to the table? Are they basically investors in early development? If so, then that's where their risk is I guess.

Wasn't the argument for why they wanted this something something griefing? Smells like bullshit to me. Seems more like wanting information and linkages to sell shit.

Like many things in life, there is plenty of retardation on both sides of this question.

These guys have a great creative department but their QA and development processes are dogshit. They look like amateurs.

Because they don't have any ideas on where to take the game other than constantly fucking around with the meta. I don't know why I'm complaining; I stopped playing it since I started having CPU overtemp problems with it. No luck resolving those so far.

So what do you guys think of this game so far? Wondering if I didn't give it enough time. It just felt like too many details thrown at you all at once in a not fun way.

Tried it out for about 20 minutes before closing it. You're immediately thrust into micro-managing a bunch of details and a bunch of building types. Not my cup of tea.

This game grabbed my attention a couple of years ago. I like medieval sims but this particular flavor being city builder, not so sure. We'll see. I couldn't get into Banished so I'll probably end up refunding this one. What I'd really like to see is a M&B/Bannerlord clone that does a better...

Seven Days to Die has decided that A22 is 1.0. Very dynamic spokesperson.

I think I got through about half of this game but, as you said, I got frustrated with the combat. It was a real work of art though. A lot of heart went into that world and the story.

I played it for an hour or so last night on the recommendation of my kid. Kind of a meh experience. Not all that excited about. It seems like managing inventory is going to suck. Got it for free on Prime so no big loss. I'll give it a little more time.
