Oxtail is like tri-tip. There's only a couple of pounds of it on each cow. It was cheap when nobody wanted it, but if it gets trendy, it's going to get pricey quick because the supply is inherently limited. Flank/skirt steak too for that matter.

I have a decades old craftsman table saw that belonged to my grandfather. It still works fine but the fence is pretty shit. I've been threatening for years to replace it with a Biesemeyer or something similar but I don't really use it for precise work enough to justify the $500.
