They haven't wiped the public test servers in years. No servers should be wiped until EA is released in June and it's possible they will move all the pre-EA characters to a test server. After EA, there is not supposed to be a wipe ever, but they may open new servers during different phases.

Plane of Fire was better for Bard swarm kiting. Could do like 80% of the zone into one swarm, but I usually broke up the front and the back separately. It had less pathing problems than DN but so many mobs that wizard AoE would often crash my game but bard usually wouldn't (for some reason).
