You have to admit the devs really captured the true EverQuest player with the mote system. Playing the same 5 zones from 1999 over and over again from level 10 for .1% gain every 3 hours of play time.

Killing the stuff is the least of your problems. Some shit never drops and the zone sucks so fucking hard the challenge is keeping your sanity and not questioning wtf you’re doing playing in this clown world.

Population means absolutely nothing in this version of EverQuest. It is essentially a single player game.

They just need to fix motes. Fuck off with 6 different types. The need 2 and the raid mote. The need to drop reliably across the game. They need to be craft-able across all trade skills. Motes as content is the worst design possible. Secretes could do better.

Rizlona’s Embers only helps the group and won’t give me 15% bonus? also what do motes do for songs like selos and over haste ?

You do realize EverQuest has over 13 thousand AA points and over 600 zones. How long are they planning to stretch this out? 26 years ?

Problem with upgrading gear and spells with motes is the next expansion all that time is instantly gone and reset. AA and levels carry over. Now I get that’s what these type of games are about but in 2026 we get the biggest time sink ever and it will all be worthless when kunark drops. This is...
