Im like four books into ‘he who fights with monsters’ and its very simple but im enjoying it i imagine its somewhat similar in quality and complexity as those old ladies reading their romance novel series but im still enjoying it

when i read real good fiction i go into a sort of zen mode where it feels more like lucid dreaming than reading.

I do nonfiction audio fiction read. My brain has a hard time reading non fiction and retaining it but if i listen to it i feel like i have a good grasp of the subject. fiction is the opposite and i can only truly visualize the world/actions/characters and bring them alive for me if im reading it

unless it was going a lot faster and slowed to current speed before our observation began also if our system was seeded it could have been chilling nearby outside view until milestones were hit (like agi?) Or most likely it's just some hyper unique comet nothing burger.
