Does it have to be an electronic game. There are a lot of good board games out there, or even just basic card games (crib) that they can play when they don't have a gaming system around.

Random Internet. When I was younger I figured my books and movies would be enough for all my entertainment needs. But as you read more and watch more things start to become the same. Randomness has the good and the bad so you never get bored.

Why not both. Depending on what plan you have now, you can get the Netflix streaming for 8 bucks. I don't use Amazon that much so the shipping wouldn't be a factor in my opinion. The other alternative is hulu, either the free base selection (which is pretty good) or the plus.
