My kids asked what I was watching. I explained it as a more adult Pokemon, because there's violence. While it's a troupe in and of itself, the source books are so much better than the anime itself.

This episode took us through the end of book 2. Book 1 ended when he becomes the Man Servant at Baron Granviel's(sp?) house. Lots of big shit is coming. I won't' spoil anything unless you DM me, then I can gloss over some of what will happen in the future.

So much corruption in this show. It's like watching our current politics. And the corrupt always trying to cover for themselves by blaming the people that caught them for what they were doing in the first place.

I have my ticket for myself and my kids for Tuesday the 7th. It's "cheap day" at the theaters. 3 tickets for their giant screen (called Titan) cost me all of $32. Normally, it would be close to $65 for the same tickets.
