Early on, he said it was going to be a 5-movie series that covers the entire world of Pandora and not just the forests and oceans. Avatar 3 didn't really expand the world at all, but introduced a new type of navee people. I assume there's still snow navee waiting to make an appearance.

The only Marvel movies they ever officially shot in 3D were from Phase 1 (starting with Hulk. Iron Man 1 wasn't offered). Anyway, they film it standard, then do editing after the fact to convert it to 3D, and it looked great.
