Do every Hernand side quest that opens up, even it takes far away. Doing so will eventually unlock the legendary beast mounts.

The game does seem to have the ability to check what you've done previously for quest chains, so hopefully once you unlock the quest to do what you did it will auto-complete for you.

Anyone unlock the Chainsaw? Its from the Dewhaven Research Institute, but the npc to talk to doesn't have the quest to start it up. I think it is locked behind Main Story progress, but no idea how far. I'm at the start of Ch9.
