How many of those actually effected me though? I don't think any.
The Bush tax cuts were mostly a tax cut for people making >$400k a year. Not me, for sure.

The child tax credit thing was real and definitely was nice for my family, having 2 kids. At least obama extended that shit.

No, you stupid fuck. This thread is about how, personally, I benefited from Obama's policies. I had my degree by 2011, hence, that didn't do shit for me.

I actually have no idea what the program you're talking about is (googling it doesn't return any results).

The only VA programs I've utilized are the GI Bill (9/11 GI Bill was entirely Congress...the President signing a document doesn't make it their policy), and a VA Loan for my mortgage. Neither has anything to do with Obama.

Edit: Just looking up the VEAP, it's a separate education/training program. I definitely didn't utilize it. No clue what happened in 2011, and not sure why you're so sure I used it?

If you weren't a leach to society, you would have gotten a $1500 pay check in 2009s.

I missed the boat on the free house money, I bought mine in Oct 2008, so I had to repay it back, if i would have waited just months, I would have gotten it free.
Cash for clunkers was used by family members.
AC unit with energy saving had a 30% tax deduction, that was sweet.
Tax rebate in 2009.
Opened relations with Cuba.

The rest of stuff I would have gotten either way.

He cost me at a minimum id say $30,000 when he got rid of NSPS. Made a lot more when I worked under that.

National Security Personnel System - Wikipedia
I'm under a non-GS pay system and it sucks (was GS until last year). I switched jobs in March, and despite my performance being rated highly in both careers (working for the same command, so this isn't an issue of completely changing employers), because they split the year in half I got a 0% raise. Had I still been GS, I would've at least had a step increase.

So now I get to wait another year to potentially get the raise I should have received this year.

What does Obama have to do with weed legalization? All of those were State initiatives. At most you can say he didnt interfere once states started legalizing but thats kinda of like saying your rapist is a good guy because he didnt beat you when you tried escaping.
Without the federal government tacit approval. It could have gotten very bad.

They could have go after banks that made loans to small weed business,( there is a federal law for this, but they didn't enforced it). They could have used federal resources, Hi2uDEA. (selling/processing marijuana is still a federal offense)

Other than racial stuff and the ME, the Obama presidency was a positive one, economically and socially.

The thing is, you're saying "Obama did a good job by inaction." No, Obama didn't do shit about marijuana. If he had ordered it to be reclassified, or campaigned on behalf of state legalization, I could see saying, "Wow, yeah, Obama had a huge impact on marijuana legalization."

Him sitting on his hands is a pretty retarded bar to set for "action."

It's the same thing with him helping blacks. Shit, just by doing the above he would've done more to help blacks in the US than any other President in the last 50 years. But nah, Obama would rather just pardon them all after the fact.

I hope you mean Obama helped create a situation that allowed for Trump to become elected, thus giving us the hottest first lady ever.

Now I need to compare pictures of Jackie kennedy and Melania to see if this statement is true.

This isn't exactly the same, but when 0 was first elected, I started a list of everything he did that I agreed with or liked so I wouldn't forget. Here it is.

Killed somali pirates
He even allowed a movie to be made that seems to insinutate he did not actually pull the trigger himself. Verily, his humility knoweth no bounds.

Legalized medical marijuana. (said he would not prosecute medical marijuana use in states that allow it) there might still be some prosecutions, but clearly, they're being allowed to continue whereas under previous presidents they wouldn't have been.

Arizona Memorial speech (his fans turned it into a rock concert, but the speech was good)

Allowed the raid that killed his half brother in law from a different sister, Osama Bin Laden.

Hired a midget for his daughters' halloween party (despite the fact that they refused to call it halloween)

Brought down reddit with his IamA Q&A thing.

Helped new nuclear power plants be built for the first time in decades (comes from fanaskin, don't think I ever verified it)

Responding to online petitions. not sure if he started this, but he did pledge to respond to any that got a certain level of support and as far as I know he has.

Normalized relations with cuba

He was right about Modern Family being a good show. I didn't watch it for years, and him calling it the best show on TV was a strike against it.

When the job of the executive is to enforce the existing anti marijuana laws, Obamas action of telling his Justice department, and DEA, of not prosecuting people in states that have medical marijuana, his directive of not blocking banks from lending money it is a big deal.

The same way when his inaction/directive of not deporting illegals without a criminal record.

- Gave my family tax cuts
- Killed a bunch of durkas in the Middle East who are better off dead. Not a direct effect but I do feel pretty good about them being dead.
- Promoted decency and family values which encouraged me to become the fine young man I am today
- Kept the United States safe from terror plots post 9/11
