definitely does not feel like a team in any way, the color palette just feels washed out and grimdark, maybe this is one of those things where the trailer sucks and the movie is better.

If they insist on keeping him on board, couldn't we at least have a hard-R Leonidas, Deathstroke, Rorschach, BvS-Murder-Batman crossover? WW can stay for slow-mo spartan-style tag-teaming with Leonidas.

The CGI probably has a few more passes to get it into it's finished state. He will probably still be the most distracting thing about the movie though. His look is just bad on a conceptual level. Good CGI can't fix it.

hell, ffs look at the POWER RANGERS trailer.
ensemble introduction. real locations. introduces Rita even. the power rangers trailer is more compelling, and establishes a basic coherent story.

It's not really a fair comparison to TDK trailer, one because the villain was already set up in the previous movie Batman Begins so the average movie watcher already knows what their getting and two, Joker is an iconic villain that almost everyone knows, even people who have never read a comic book. Who is the iconic Justice League villain and can you sell him/her as the focal point in the trailer?

This is the first trailer. We know that, presumably, Steppenwolf is the big bad in this one. But they aren't going to showcase him in the first trailer. Not after the flack they got for showing off Doomsday too soon for BvS. Not to mention they have another movie (Wonder Woman) landing between now and November when this one comes out. They should be highlighting her as much as they can get away with in this trailer (which I'm not sure they did effectively but that's beside the point) for cross-promotional purposes and showing off the main antagonist makes that an even taller order.

If the reshoot rumors are to be believed they're adding in Green Lantern/Green Lantern Corp though even so it will probably just be seeds for an upcoming Green Lantern movie.

Supes will probably be there as well though I'm guessing not until just before the very end (I think that shot of Lois might be her seeing him for the first time after he comes back).

Chris hit the nail on the head when he said that we should be watching a trailer for Aquaman, not Justice League. I don't care if we "know" all these characters already (debatable, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg in particular are not exactly household names...especially in these iterations), without movies to showcase them first, a Justice League movie is either going to spend way too much time introducing them, or not enough time, leaving us with another jumbled mess a la Suicide Squad.

We've all said it a hundred times. They skipped all the hard work Marvel did and are trying to just land on Avengers right out of the gate. And it is going to be a shitshow unless a miracle happens.

I'm way, way more excited for Wonder Woman than this.

I did a Google image search for Cyborg DC and he doesn't look like sharp Bay transformer in the comics. CGI Iron Man suit works because it's smooth and appears like something we can make in the real world. (Plus they do make the prop costume RDJ/stunt double can wear)
Batman, WW, Superman, and Aquaman work because of the real props. Not including Flash because his costume looks dumb. You can change the look of the heroes, but it has to be done correctly.

Best part of the trailer is Aquaman's Metallica 'yeah!' as he's riding on the Batmobile lol.

The concept of Granny Goodness is absolutely fucking terrifying, she's just always portrayed very poorly. She had a brief appearance in Apocalypse having trained Treasure to try and replace Big Barda where she didn't seem like a joke.

Aquaman is going to steal the show in this and get revenge for years of being the butt of jokes. I will probably see it for that alone. I really like Wonder Woman too, she was the highlight of BvS for me.

I mean I know in my heart this is going to be terrible as movies go, but if there is even a small chance that Khal Drogo makes Aquaman badass, that might be worth it.
