AZ can't break a simple 2-3 zone because all their Guards except Allen don't wanna drive to the hole. Up 8 with 2:30 left and decide to stop playing. Yeah my Wildcats are always good to let me down. /sigh

Further proof that morons do the seeding. I know anything can happen in a tournament...but it seems like professional sports people should do a better job!

I cannot believe Gamecocks are going to the Final Four! I knew Frank Martin was going to be a good coach for an always slumping team in Basketball. Lets go Gamecocks! KRA! KRA! (Of course I should just keep my mouth shut, cause when I saw something about my team, they seem to find a way to lose.)

Regime Regime Your Gators really gave us a great match up. KRA!

Really wanted Kentucky there. Still permutations where I can win. Need Oregon and South Carolina to win.

Would love either an all Pac NW final or a battle of the Carolina's. Either way, so decent games this weekend. Disappointed in KU, didn't show up and Oregon is a very good team. Ending of the UNC / UK game was great as well, that Carolina kid is probably knee deep in the tang as we speak

Apparently during the final possession of the UK game CBS in Columbus cut to the weatherman talking about a tornado warning and then just went to a black screen after that lol

Enough of them saw it to engage in great schadenfreude.

Went to the Final Four yesterday, entered the ticket lottery first day about 8 months ago and ended up picking up 4 tickets. Seats were terrible (had zero input due to lottery), upper deck, corner off the basket. Overall, it was a shitty experience tbh.

Could see the players but couldn't follow the action all that well. Spent most of the time watching the monitor over center court. No broadcast and PA was weak af, barely chiming in when there was a timeout. Bands barely played. Couldn't even hear the ball being dribbled.

Paid $200/seat for all 3 sessions, dumped em for $150/seat for the title game, so ended up paying $50/seat for the first two games, which is pretty trivial. I don't think I'll ever attend a Final Four game again unless I've got about $5k for tickets because that's about what it would take for decent seats. Glad I got to tick it off the bucket list, but never again. I enjoy it more watching on my 65" from the couch.

Edit: Was surprised by how well Zag fans travel, they represented well. Didn't expect that from a school with a student body of 7000.

Refs made that second half nearly unwatchable. Foul foul foul foul foul... both teams in the bonus with over 14 minutes left.. foul foul foul foul... Ugly title game, bring on the NBA playoffs.

I wish the NBA would implement the same rule MLB has... if you don't enter the draft straight out of high school, you won't be eligible again until after Junior year of college. College ball would be soooo much more entertaining, and it would help the NBA as well by filtering out more of the "upside" players that get drafted after one year of college but never actually learn how to play the game.

Edit: fuck you FBI

U of Arizona is the same way, Tucson is full of diehard Wildcat fans, most of whom never attended UofA, myself included. But even then, UofA has a student body of like 50k and I think Spokane is about half the size of Tucson. Like I said, I was pretty impressed by how well they travelled, but I have to imagine it's not tough to get people to come to Phoenix in April. Good showing by Gonzaga, wasn't thrilled about either team winning, was a pretty terrible final.

I think the NBA is far better off using the D League as a minor league than the NCAA.
