I was mainly piggybacking Wormie & Keystones latest posts. You seem very sensitive to take this so personally. This was posted 10 days after your last post in this thread, I had to scroll up to even see if it had relevance to our past discussion. Believe me, I had completely forgotten our...

Artifact - The DOTA Card Game

Pyros, love you dude, but this post illustrates how out of touch you are with standard human viewing habits. People don't give a shit about the minute details of a game (or show, or sport) that they watch. It's big picture shit that draws you in and hooks you. The details of the cards isn't...

Eagles have been dogshit this year but that game yesterday was the worst officiating I've ever seen. How do you get away with these? Cowboys Maintain Ball On Controversial Kickoff Best Video of opening Fumble I can find is on the Dallas site lol! Also the Goedert penalty: I can...

Looks bad but isn't this an email for accounts that haven't been previously verified? I have a verified Epic Games account already so I'd assume this wouldn't happen in my case. IDK though, not refunding anything atm.

Skill games are fun to watch. RPGs are very hard to make fun to watch, too much dead time and very little skill necessary when facing AI.

Epic Games Storefront - A Good Incentive for Piracy

Starting slow is always a good move but I bet it'll start getting populated fast. If I was a game dev I'd be looking to find a way to get into that store ASAP since selection is so small you're guaranteed to get a lot of eyes on your game right now.

Epic Games Storefront - A Good Incentive for Piracy

I wonder how integrated the games are with the store... the store may not know you're playing the game. So "time played" req would be kinda tough to implement if there's no link. I know with Fortnite I can close the launcher and no problems. Also means you're not going to see the achievements...

I browsed the meta decks to see if anything looked fun this expansion. I got an INKLING of desire to play a couple decks, but... probably won't or can't due to needing to craft too much. Spell & Secret hunter decks seems strongest and might be cheapest option though. Mainly need Zul'jin. Looks...

    Fortnite - Epic Games - Team Survival/Strategy/Crafting/Combat

Yes the Rumble mode is what I've been doing mostly as well. A lot less sweaty knowing death doesn't mean too much. Just drop and chill. I had a match where I had 18 kills and still lost BADLY though, that sucked... was really scratching my head at the other ~15 people on my team lol. (it's...

    Pan'Theon: Rise' of th'e Fal'Len - #1 Thread in MMO

The only strategy EQ had at the top end was aggro mechanics and heal/tank chains. 1-2 guys that knew aggro did the pulling, your other 40 buds sat in a corner. It really wasn't challenging tbh. There were exploits you could find, sure, that stuff probably shouldn't stay in a game. I remember to...

Season 7 Today. Planes are added, and a creative mode, turning the game more into Minecraft. I've been playing the fun modes more often than normal BR. Modes with respawning are pretty fun. I can see Creative mode opening up some more cool stuff. The game has so much potential beyond BR and...

Steam is a behemoth and won't be dethroned anytime soon, that's for sure. But I also don't think you can compare Steam/Epic/GoG/Origen to Television streaming.. 1 is a pay-for service, the others are FREE. It's absolutely free to download Steam, Epic Market, etc.. you just pay for the games...

You're consistently using a 12yr old's argument. Please stop. Adults know how to read between the lines. let me explain: You INDIRECTLY commented on Epic's store by saying you would purchase on Steam anyway. Yes, you 100% didn't comment directly on their store, but you indirectly 100% did so...

These are some disillusions here. Gaming has only been becoming more and more mainstream. Gaming was the "nerd" hobby. Now it's everywhere. Society has a tendency to follow the pack, especially with Social media the way it is. The next break-out game has the potential to blow past Fortnite...

SpacialOS: The future of large scale battles in gaming?

One thing I dislike off the bat is it sounds like they plan to host the servers themselves. If they give no option to use the tech on servers they don't own, then it's probably DOA. I don't know if they're trying to sell the tech, or use the tech to sell server hosting. Right now it looks...

I theorycrafted this tech like 5+ years ago when I was drawing up plans for my dream mmo. Could be promising, but it's just a tool and as usual it'll be up to game devs if and how they use it. For those that still don't know what the demo is saying, it's backend server tech to get multiple...

I do think crypto coin(s) will be used as a mainstream method of payment in the near future. It likely won't start or be used in the USA for a long time, due to the strength of the dollar, but crypto can become a currency for other countries, assuming most challenges are eventually overcome...

    Bitcoins/Litecoins/Virtual Currencies

Nobody said "Definitely" but chances are VERY HIGH it will happen again. Due to the nature of financial cycles, things tend to happen around the same time periods for certain types of investments. I wouldn't count on BTC having another run up like we saw in 2017, there isn't any historical...

We still may be a few years away from another big spike, or recovery. I expect more of a "recovery" than a "spike".
