Agreed, the remake was amazing, just wish Demons Souls had the same interconnected world like the later ones had. It is nice that each world feels incredibly unique, though. Great game aside from a few gimmicky bosses.

I believe you get higher with the charged jump but for mid combat shenanigans double jump may be better. I went charged jump and ive found a ton of upper floor / roof entry points that didnt seem to have other ways in. (Well, maybe not a TON but more than a few so far)

Had my first crash on PS5 about 14 hours in, finished a side job and as soon as I jumped back on the motorcycle the game just froze for 5 seconds and crashed, thankfully it autosaved right beforehand, but overall its been running pretty good. Just hope I don't jinx myself.....so much side...

If you like it you really should give the others a shot, they were all amazing to me, though Dark Souls 2 was definitely not as good as the others.
