I dont pvp and play awakening. Tet blackstar doesn't seem like that much of an upgrade over pen dande I thought. Thought about saving up for pen blackstar awakening already, but I might burn out before I have enough money.

I hope the Story is alright. I think I finished dos1, but couldn't give a shit about the story and just enjoyed the combat. Dos2 I never finished. Got annoyed eventually by the main story. Always liked the BG story. Bhaal stuff was fun.

I liked the Witcher3 romance stuff. It was mostly well written and the game/story was great overall, so it fit in. Most other games it is just annoying or traumatic in my case, when I got raped by a half orc in BG2.

Aggro is weird af on this server. FTE screws with proxy aggro, with trains and fd. It feels different and easier. No idea about raiding, but it is easier in general.

That was my experience in unrest at least. While waiting for a group I would just pick out mobs from returning trains to get exp.

Server is fun so far. FTE can be annoying at times, when you waste mana on a mob. Trains are funny now. It is like a Buffet. You just pick whatever you want out of the train, when they walk back. They dont social aggro when returning. As a casual the Server is fine so far.

IIRC you can play both Fallouts without a patch, but at least in F2 the fan patch finishes some quests and adds a bit of content. It wasnt hard to install and the added content is nice.

Fallout 1 is a good game, but Fallout 2 is the real deal. It is a great game and has some funny moments. You can even play with Int 1 and you are basically a cave man then and get treated accordingly. And yes, one Tome is in a Sirens Cave. Another one at Gnoll Stronghold. Others are Candlekeep...

One important advice. If you plan to play BG2 with the same hero, you will import him over at the start. All his stats and exp will carry over. In BG1 you will find a Tome for each stat. Use it on your hero. There are more in BG2 and it will make your main a powerhouse in stats. Don't waste them...

In BG2 you can get a Paladin specific 2 handed sword, that will be BiS until the end (you can upgrade it in ToB). So you made a good choice. At the start in BG1 go with a shield. Katana, I cant think of any in BG1. Longsword is King there.

There is basically a standard party story wise with which you can play through BG 1 and 2. Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc, Dynhaeria and Imoen are the main companions and the story at the start in BG2 treats it as you had these 5 party members in BG1. Viconia returns in BG2 aswell and you can recruit...
