Look who came to say hello. 4-5 nice sized cobia about 1 meter each swimming with him, one had a jig in his mouth with the tag end tangled with the shark. jumped in and freed the shark, tried to hand wrastle the cobia but he had none of it and went berserk and took off.

They are one of my favorite fish to eat. Awesome fighters, quick growing, and one of the best looking fish as well in the sea. If you are putting bars of gold on the deck you are having a good day.

South China Sea. The whole tuna is a small yellowfin. We ran out of cooler space and had to take the heads of kawa kawa (which we used for chum) to fit everything.

The quota has been filled for the year, so all fish above 73 inches need to be released. If you land it quickly and swim the fish for long enough it can recover and swim away. Those markings are from the leader rubbing against the fish. We swam it for 20 minutes and it powered away just fine.

Debt used properly is simply a tool for wealth generation. I consider a credit card to be nothing more than a 30 day interest free loan with some perks (miles). If you can borrow money at 2% and invest it and reliably earn 3%, it makes financial sense to do so. Margin does increase risk; and...

I would advise people to buy a tux that fits. Fit is the most important factor in looking 'good'. If you get fat, get the tux taken out, lose weight, or buy a new one. Looking like a schlub defeats the entire purpose.

If you are ok with ETFs, BND (if you are american) or LQDE.L (if non american) are fine in my opinion. As mentioned above, bonds are used to mitigate portfolio risk at the cost of long term returns. A portfolio with a 70/30 stock/bond split will benefit from a full standard deviation of risk...

This budget is not realistic for a tuxedo. Even a modestly priced tuxedo (wool, half-canvassed, decent satin) will cost around 1,500 USD. If the dress code to the gala is black tie, then you have few options but to wear a proper tux. If the dress code is dinner jacket you might be able to get...

I live in Asia. We say it as [Breem]. Its a marine fish, we call members of the sparidae family breams. Even more confusing, in australia/NZ they have a well known fish "snapper" (pagrus auratus) which is actually a member of the bream family.

If i intend to eat as sushi I catch fresh within a couple of days. Flash freezing requires commercial freezers that go to -70 or -80c. I bleed the fish for 10 minutes, then remove the guts and pack the fish in ice until i get home. I find if I freeze the fish even for 1 day with my home...
