Apparently 5,000 players accepted the deal within the first 12 hours. 85 players x 138 schools would be 11,730. So almost halfway there in the first 12 hours. The high profile guys might hold out for more money, but the majority of players will have their real names.

Probably as simple as a line of code that references a database with players who rejected the offer. If first_name and last_name match optout_name, then error: cannot rename player this. Of course, you just get around it by misspelling the name or adding a hyphen/character.

Without going back and rereading it, I can just say that my feeling was that it was abrupt and not satisfying. It may have been an appropriate ending...but not the type of closure I prefer from my fiction, maybe? Again, I'd have to go back and reread it to give a more nuanced opinion of it.

Runtime was about 25 minutes shorter than last week's episode. Shortest of the season so far. Could have easily cut 10-15 minutes off last week's episode and put it on the 2nd or 4th.

I'm not sure if there's a matchup calculation that measures how many cards you have from higher pools or what, but I feel like I tend to have better luck with my "Balanced" deck with a lot of T1/T2 cards. It might also just be that playing a random deck fakes people out and they're expecting...
