It was pretty blatant with botters (not boxers) sitting at epic camps all night long & folks warping around. It wasn't the majority by any means, but it doesn't need to be. Watching a good chunk of the local "top guild" cope on the official EQ discord is also pretty hilarious.

Yeah I tried a rogue in classic, was one of the most miserable experiences of my gaming career. Got into a bad static for the Mischief launch, but kept telling myself "I can't leave because I probably won't get a group otherwise."

I've seen what I think is a change to raid ids so that you can raid with multiple characters on the same account. Am I understanding that correctly? Combine that with being able to trade gear and OW content becomes a lot less important. I feel like I'm missing something though.

I don't think a ranger is going to get close to a monk dps wise for a few xpacs, but I'll always pick ranger over monk to play personally. I just like the class more.

Mob locking doesn't solve the issue though it just moves it "back". Now instead of DPS races, it turns into who locks/taps first. If anything it adds more ways of screwing over people. Qoidjfks now just locks mobs before they're visible.

Yeah if I bought on April 2nd, I agree. The severity is barely a blip though. Personally I stay away from stuff like BUD because year over year its losing a hell of a lot more than what they lost with Dylan.

The thing is that BUD isn't cratering like Fox News is suggesting. In fact it's doing well. It dipped a little for a few days, overall it's up. It's just a marketing move and it makes as much sense as all the other click bait we read. Who knows Bud Light might transition to a decent beer....

Did a rogue a couple TLPs ago, it wasn't so bad. It sucked in the moment though because we always had to fill in our static. The guys who insisted on playing "needed" classes had horrible reliability.

To be fair EQ1 isn't going to drive very many clicks unless a player divulges military secrets in Commons.

What guilds are shaping up on the top end of things? I don't make a lot of friends on these TLPs and I skipped the last one so I'm a bit out of the loop.
