Axe is top tier in every Nioh but like all weapons just have to build towards it. Spear and odachi went well together in my first play through the crawl up the pole and slam it down combo enders were strong and the pole vault kick with spear does insane Ki damage.

Hit 102 and third area, 35 hours in. Magic build is working well, I have a three charge massive AoE fire spell that allows me to just destroy packs of whatever. Sitting at 188 luck with lots of room for improvement. They do like reusing while set pieces though. Like we wouldn't notice.

I get you, they sprinkle them in. Even the first few bosses are reskins which is disappointing.

Pretty much have to parry them at lower levels, they are very strong. Dodging and the like does not work.

I was using them for the +luck but yeah they destroy humanoids. There is a strength set that gives +luck as well. Haven't seen a INT/Magic set yet.

Twin stave is cool on paper but not sure it beats anything but hatchets so far, some very long windups and are all stagger prone. Switch glaive remains godly, low stance into massive triple swing and has multiple infinites. Every early point into magic almost doubles the damage of spells so far...
