Bronny with an impressive stat line in his third pre-season game of the year. A Triple Zero!

I honestly feel bad for Bronny. His dad didn't set him up to succeed in the NBA. He got him a payday and will be out of the league as soon as Lebron retires.

If he stayed in college four years he might have had a chance as a defensive rotation player in the league. If they don't make him play most of the season in the G League, it's definitely over for him as he won't ever get any meaningful game action otherwise.

This is true of nearly every second round pick ever drafted.

I haven't followed the NBA closely in years, but I check in now and again. With that being said -- the T-Wolves letting KAT go doesn't seem like a move that would the team better.

Am I missing something?

The Mavericks picking up Klay could be good if they use him as a role-player. His best is behind him, but he's still capable of getting an easy 12 off the bench.

The Wolves are having ownership conflicts and are prioritizing salary flexibility to prepare for Anthony Edwards’ looming pay day. They think Naz Reid can provide 90% of what Towns does at a discount rate.

Klay is going to be third option on the Mavs, which is a far cry from his role on the dubs the last couple years. He’ll never see the opponent’s best defender, and will never be doubled. Luka is a vastly superior facilitator to Steph, and Klay will not be expected to be the movement shooter he was in GSW. I predict his best shooting percentage season in 5 years. Even if I’m wrong on that, the space he’s going to create for Luka & Kyrie to penetrate for easy buckets is gonna be immense. They’re gonna get absolutely torched by teams with fast guards though (Kings & Pacers, maybe Grizzlies). Teams with big scoring wings will give them trouble too (Celtics, Knicks, Bucks), but those are a problem for everyone.

I actually semi followed the WNBA this season and watched a few games, largely because of the Caitlin Clark hate/love. I watched bits of the playoffs and man, if you like 90s era NBA ball, might want to watch the WNBA. Feels a lot more physical to me than the NBA usually does. The last Finals game was a horrendous shooting exhibition, though.

The players union opted out of their contract, presumably to get more benefits and I just shake my head at that... the NBA still subsidized them 40 million last year. I wonder why the overseas women leagues seem to be better off financially (at least, I would think so, given that WNBA players often make more overseas than here). Are they all just vanity/status ownerships by rich people?

Zero chance I’m watching those super unathletic women play basketball. They hype up Angela Reece and she can’t even make a fucking layup. The WNBA is a joke.

That was such a huge running joke throughout the season and part of why I was paying attention. There were tons of people saying Reece was more deserving of ROY for half the season when she was never even in the same ballpark. Once Clark picked up her shooting numbers and started getting a little more volume, even the haters couldn't deny it anymore.

I don't recall what her final numbers were and she missed the end of the season because of injury, but Reese was on pace to have DOUBLE the amount of self offensive rebounds than any other player and set that dubious record. About 1/3 of her rebounds were from her own misses. Just absolutely hilarious for a power forward who doesn't take threes to be shooting 40%. She was just catching her own junk.

It will be hilarious if they go on strike or have a work stoppage right after the most successful season in the history of their league.

Until your boy gets in shape, and realizes he MUST play defense, last season will have been Dallas' last/best shot with Luka.

Great way for the Sixers to start the season.

The Lynx got robbed at the end of regulation. That was a bullshit phantom call at the end plus she took like five steps before the foul was even called.

I mean, realistically, what are the likely game played totals for George and Embiid? You'd think the Sixers would be content if they get 100 combined and end up uninjured when the playoffs start.

It's more physical because the entire wbnan is using the Jordan rules against Clark.

Embiid's first game of the season tonight, and he runs into the brick wall that is McBride.

This league is such a fucking joke.
