Both the Rams and TB SB winning teams were loaded. Have you watched football before? Give me the SB winning team with a terrible D and just focused on the QB and a WR. I’ll wait.

Could make the argument Chiefs with Hill, although their SB winning team with him their defense performed well in regular season...if not as well come playoffs. But when you score as much as they did it didn't really matter.

curious if the Rams had this sort of contact in mind

EDIT

Ian Rapoport reported the two of them "bumped" into each other randomly

It's possible. There is an ultra-exclusive ski resort in Big Sky called the Yellowstone club. It's like $170k a year to be a member and the condos cost like $10M. Brady has a house there. It could be that he invited Stafford up there, but it is a place where rich people just go to hang out so it could be a coincidence.

Just like that time when Stafford happened to go down to Cabo and bumped into McVay

Nah, That was Spag's first year and look what happened. The team was 7th in points allowed that year. That defense shut out the Texans for almost 3 quarters, shut down Derrick Henry easily, and limited the prolific Garoppolo to just 219 yards, a TD and 2 ints. Hell, Frank Clark won that game with his sack. That Chiefs team wasn't super crazy that year with 4k yards, and 26 TDs for Mahomes, 870 yards and 7 TDs for Hill, and Kelce with 1200 yards and 5 TDs. The Chiefs offense from the year before was much better.

Just saying, they gave up average of 25 per game in the playoffs. They were down 24-0 to Houston but that offense scored TD's on 7 straight possessions. Titans game was 21-17 at halftime. Hardly a defensive struggle. Their O put up 51, 35, 31 in their 3 playoff games, kinda was the reason they won.
