Started watching this over the holiday this past weekend. Granted that it is another entry in the "Hunger Games"/dystopian-society genre, but this is far more psychological than action oriented.

It seems to have been done on a very low budget, it is mostly filmed in one office building and a warehouse, but it makes up for this with some nice performances. It is in Portuguese (Brazilian) and although they have an english voice track I would recommend stick with the native tongue and using subtitles since the english voice acting seems to have been done by terrible people. (I swear to christ Siri has more vocal inflection than these english dubbers)

Yes Netflix Original Content. I think it might be their first specifically for Brazil?

Haven't made it past the 1st episode- only watched a bit by bit - it seems good. I think I am with you on the orig voice with subs - but maybe it was just the overacting of a few of the guys during the first interview.

Poor guy got his block stolen, I would have rage raped the dude instantly.

It is pretty interesting. I have watched I think 3 or 4 episodes. It seems like they are sort of trying to populate their magical happy place with some utter sociopaths given how their tests are setup.

4 episodes in also. I can't tell if I really like it or not, but when we open netflix up for the past week this has been our choice.

We're three episodes in after tonight and like it enough. Pretty interesting and the lower'ish budget actually fits pretty well. One thing I noticed is in episode two the announcement is encouraging people who failed The Process to go home and procreate to relieve the stress of failing. Then in episode three Aline tells Brazil Christian Bale that 'the good thing about their society is that they all went through The Process.'

So is there something about finishing it that sterilizes you? Or maybe we just missed something. I was cooking dinner for the whole first episode.

at episode 3 atm. Decent enough. watching english dub.

yeah, same thoughts as a few others. not sure where its going. Tests seem to promote sociopaths as noted. No real teamwork, cooperation. They do accept it it seems, but don't promote it. This seems a bit contradictory, to the "no crime, no murders, off shore" etc.
At the same time, they do have that westworld style secondary plot of exactly that though. other faction leaders on Offshore targeting that exact thing. wanting the process changed to be less aggressive, and allow candidates with other qualifications.
