The movie was actually pretty good. It did actually have a great scene that acknowledged the clear separation of races that kept black woman from being able to join despite potential talent. This looks to be retelling the story despite the facts of history.

I doubt this will share the same magic as the movie.

i guess whomever took over Penny Marshall's estate signed away her second best movie rights for a quick payday. i wonder when we will see the female starring TV series of Big?
