I'm going to let myself be cautiously optimistic about this until my hopes are dashed by the writing.... well also dashed by seeing what abominations JJ "The Franchise killer" Abrams will roll in.

When I saw, "Producer of Batman: The Animated Series", the art style made so much sense.

Pretty excited now, to be honest.

Part way through first episode. Seems fairly in line with the old series but Penguin is female and Barbara Gordon seems to be of Middle Eastern descent.

So there’s that.

To be fair, I’ve watched the entire series now and despite the race/gender swapping (which wasn’t too gratuitous) it was a really solid show. Had a little harder edge than the original animated series and the stories were all interesting.

I want to give this a chance, the run of Batman the animated series, superman, then Justice League and JLU was a pretty awesome run
