there is a 4K rip of gladiator 2 but with hardcoded korean subs (itunes) the rumored official VOD date is 12/24 so may wanna wait to see if a better encode is out next week.

The story is insanely bad with a lot of retcons that kind of ruin the first one. The action is cool but it literally jumped the sharks when the shark scene happens. It’s quite comical from there. This would be a fun movie to drink to if it wasn’t 2.5 hours long. Also thought the street American accent from Denzel stuck out like a sore thumb.

I couldn't believe the epic "fight" at the end was vs the 70yo man. That was pathetic. Were they trying to act like he's in his 40s or something? Because that was terrible elderly abuse.

Watched the 4K Disc at home. Looked great, felt empty. I don't regret the time watching it, but watching once is enough.

I'm in the middle of a rewatch of 300. I haven't seen this movie in a long time and I remember it being a cool movie. I still think there are a lot of epic style parts, but ultimately, it isn't a good movie. Green Screen was in it's early stages, and that shows. Oh well. Quite a few to epic scenes (This is Sparta! *kick*) with plenty of weak scenes in between.

Speaking of 300 though, theres a woman at work who says Gerard Butler is her favorite actor, a major simp for him. Asked if shes seen 300.

She said no. Fucking zoomers i swear to god.

Pretty much the entire movie is slow motion, just to make everything seem even cooler. But it got tiring.

Its that movie where he is dead and wrote a buncha letters before he died and then the last one is like "okay, you done being a woman and QQing? okay, get out and live, stop crying, go!"

And the line "Argh Woman! Ya pain in me hole!" - its great, because I use it all the time and the wife cant get mad because its like, her FFAAVVOORRITEEE movie next to the notebook and it triggers her inner Gerard Butler voice and she just is like awwwww...
