So this came out way back in October on Netflix, and I never got around to watching it until now. I always thought it was going to be live action Gundam, but it ended up being CGI Gundam made to look realistic. It gets into action pretty quickly into the first episode. The series is 6 episodes long, and the first one clocks in at almost 25 minutes long. It's decent so far.

I guess that's kind of like those starship trooper CGI anime deals that came out. They weren't bad but they were pretty cheesy, or maybe they were pretty bad, but they were at least kind of entertaining. This is the same vibe I get from those.

Wonder if it's from the same production company or animation studio.

cgi mecha is an abomination to me, i recently rewatch og 79 gundam (lots of skipping off course, even the ovas) and the fighting is great, you clearly see a big white robot is getting smacked around by a green robot (or red? i'm really fucking colorblind, even tho i know obviously char is the red comet, it doesn't look red to me)

all cgi mecha sees to be hiding shit, like in that trailer theyre just fighting at night, wtf why bother w/ so much more detail when youre just gonna have a night fight scene.
