I was going to say I'm surprised he needed a paycheck that bad, or maybe this is the last film he had to do with Netflix for whatever that contract required.

Who knows maybe he's just bored. It might have a few laughs but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Netflix makes Sandler the highest paid actor in Hollywood. His movies don't cost a ton and he brings in the views. They also let him do whatever he wants.

While it wasn't on the same level as Keanu turning down Speed 2, I give Sandler some credit for declining to do more Hotel Transylvanias when it became clear they only wanted to do garbage-tier cash grabs.
