They're saying it's a 6.9-7.3, pretty small compared to the previous one.

"Tsunami" estimated to be 1-3 meters (3-9 feet).

Doesn't seem to be much happening.

First article I read on it said the power company in charge failed to respond to multiple request from Reuters on the issue in a timely manner. No shit? You think they got other shit going on or something? How rude.

I couldn't find a good webcam - there used to be several for the nuke site but they all just show cranes now.

Glad it doesn't seem to be as serious this time.

Underwhelming for the coverage it got, but I feel that is good news.
The only disaster I wish upon Japan is Godzilla. How would that not be cool?

I was awake when the earthquake hit, was about a 3-4 by the time it made it to Tokyo.

No big deal, happens every day, business as usual.

When I was in Japan a couple years ago, a 5 point something hit in Tokyo. All it did was delay the morning trains by like a minute or two, otherwise no one cared lol.

The thing that struck me as odd was no car alarm or any other types of alarms. I mean, it makes sense why there was no car alarms when you think of the context of the country, but you'd be hearing hundreds of those if something like that hit a city in the US.
