So, I recently hit a big goal with my business and bought my sales team nice watches as a reward. I grabbed a couple of Tudors and also got myself an Omega Speedmaster:
This is the first nice-ish watch I've bought and I've got a buddy who is super deep in the game, so my curiosity really took off. After a lot of digging around I eventually came across a subreddit discussing "fake watches". Well, given my new dip into the watch pond, I started digging there too and eventually bought one:
The quality is crazy, it weighs the same, they nailed the movement and functionality, and even the guts are cloned. I did a ton of digging to find out what is the best way to go about it and even found a Google Doc that has ratings for the best factories to use. Now, it's not a precise art and you still need to research the individual luxury brands and each factory and what they produce, while also getting a look at as much of the watch as you possibly can, but I was impressed.
Anyone else have experience with other luxury items? I was thinking about getting some handbags as well since now that China is going all out "trade war" they've made it legal to knock off luxury goods and those vendors are starting to post on TikTok. I saw a video today from a factory claiming that they actually produce goods for brands like Hermes and Chanel and that they'll sell you the knockoffs. But, then I checked out their website and raffed.
Here's the site for watches: https://www.theonewatches.ws/
Anyone got a site for handbags or other goods?
[edit] Figured I'd add photos of the watches mentioned in the first paragraph. Most expensive watch is on the end, but it's also my best sales guy:
