Not going to be down on it from a teaser and frankly I think this looks cool as hell, they are atleast trying something WAY different and that should be applauded.
Same director as Prey. Predator protagonist is something that can be very cool if done well and the visual style is pretty badass too tbh. Fanning looks like a Wayland Android. Dude who is mocapped for the Predator is Samoan
Director / Studio is pitching it as this

I like that it is different. I fucking hate the CGI Predator face. Why can we not just have the tried and true prosthetics that they have used for every good version of the predator ever?

Yeah the alien theory dude was talking about it being the Independence Day alien, but they didn't have noses, so I don't think the skull works. I'm predicting this is going to be a stinker much like that last stupid alien movie that came out, and I was right about it.
Do I want it to be good, sure that would be wonderful, but do I have a lot of hope that it will be the case, no not really.
Just do the goddamn comics and you have a whole MCU type deal that you could make. You could do a stupid Amazon series or whatever other streaming service, and milk it for all it's worth. I guess since that we're getting that stupid to alien Earth shit instead.
Also, fuck Ridley Scott.
