I'm currently 51h into it. It's just a real chill simulator game.
Got all properties and cooking Cocaine with 8 mixes for big dollar.
Still got one more area to unlock as well.
I hope the guy continue to add shit into it.

I was playing it and feeling kinda sad I had to drop it for PoE2. Then PoE2 0.2 sucked ass so I'm back to running my drug empire. Played all weekend and lost a lot of sleep. Worth it for a fun game.
Sure it could use some quality of life but damn, that 1 dev did an amazing job so I'm happy for him!
Just set up more cocaine plants in the bungalow to help my production. Now I need to take to the street and get more customers for the last area!

Impressive indeed. Longevity wise, if he can get some drug war content in (rival gangs, some multiplayer rival drug empire thing where you can go against your friends like those old BBS door games), that will probably help keep it active after people complete all the base game stuff

It's the most fun at the start. Once you snowball and get to Cocaine and mixing theres just infinite money to be had and no real goal besides unlocking a new region.
Turf wars would be real cool if he adds that. Some goal to spend money on trying to take out the cartell.

I just had a handler steal a fuckload of product from me. Watched her do it. Unloaded the van to the stations, she just walked in, grabbed the shit, walked out. Shut down my entire production line for the day, made zero fucking money.
I beat her ass with a bat, threw her in the fucking river and she came back the next day.
I'd be pissed, but I think this is what life is actually like.

It's pretty fun. My GF enjoys bopping around doing random shit and I enjoy setting up the most efficient criminal empire imaginable. Literally fun for the whole family.

Apparently this is a bug, as you can go delete the handler's inventory and they go back to normal. Which I think I'm a little sad about - this should probably be a feature. You're running a criminal empire, you're gonna have some people skimming off you. It probably shouldn't be to the extent of shutting down your operation, but it would definitely be more amusing if you showed up somewhere and had to figure out where your last 2 jars of product went
