The "Love Death and Robots crew do videogame shorts" is a hell of a pitch, but also sounds like rights would be a pain unless they're viewing it as advertising (like Outer Worlds 2 - I imagine that one will be deeply satirical).

Noticed the megaman, but didn't think that was really going to be megaman.
Outerworlds is pretty ripe for this kind of thing. Although its not getting any sequels...


I bet they got the idea from when they already copied Kenshi. haha.

Also, this is a terrible title. Way too many people are going to skip it, not understanding what this is.

You mean you don't think they will get any sequels beyond Outer Worlds 2, announced back in 2021 and (as far as we know) still in development?

The logo roll explicitly names it as "Outer Worlds 2":

nah, knew it was The outer worlds. But could have sworn Obsidian abandoned it. Thought it didn't perform very well. they are hurting for money. had to drop patching the first one, etc..

avowed was announced in 2020. prior to it. And, even checking sales. "sold over 4 million units", by 2021. so even sold better then I thought. hell thats better then Owlcats games. (further proving that topic of discussion I suppose)
