It is on early release on steam and Jesus I have blown like 18 hours on it in the last 24.

I am having a ball blowing shit up and getting mobbed and practically gangraped in the sector map thing, but still having fun.

I loved the first one, and own this one but haven't tried it yet. If you've played the first, can you explain the changes they've made? Apparently it's quite a different game?

Hmm. It is just a different type of game. Download it and try it since you already have it. It is very well done for a pre release.
