Did not love this so much. Had a lot of opportunity to be clever and highlight some sort of mystery / puzzle aspect, but never got there. I complained about the cruelty of Squid Game but liked it for how involved and elaborate everything was. This had almost none of that. It turns in to a sort of Lord of the Flies class struggle torture porn for 3-4 of the 8 episodes in a row and never goes anywhere. Even the “moral” of the story doesn’t hit by the end.

Overall disappointed.
