Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong chewing screen together should be A+ viewing.

So is this a character assassination piece or a fair biopic?

It is not overt character assassination. The actor playing Trump is amazing, and sometimes I found myself admiring the character he plays.
Sure, towards the end of the movie you get to see how Trump transforms into the monster some say he is today, but it is subtle and... believable.
What I really liked is the fact it is not an political movie. It is before politics, it is cultural, it is a human story.
And it is a great and amazing movie, just suspend what you think about Trump today.

Impossible, I couldn't have a higher opinion of Trump, both the man and the president, than I do right now.

I also seriously doubt it is very great when you describe the later parts as "you get to see how Trump transforms into the monster some say he is today". That just sounds like faggy progressive bullshit.

Yeah that doesn't really steer me towards "fair biopic"...
