I don't remember much about the movie other than it was pretty visually stunning, but I remember going and seeing it in the theater back in college. Think the director's Indian or something I'm just used to make music videos, and this was his first feature film.

The imagery of this movie has always stuck with me. Probably one of the most memorable movies I have ever seen.

It's Tarsem Singh—the same guy who directed The Fall.

They're similar. Mind-blowing visuals, slightly sub par story. Both are worth the watch though.

Vince Vaughn is fucking awful in this. That said if you don’t mind the paint-by-numbers plot this is a great movie. JLo arguably at her hottest, Se7en style, cinematography from the era before they started trying waaaay too hard. We covered the work of Eiko Ishioka the costume designer in college, she was on some extra shit (though reuse of the Dracula licorice suit is a bit lame in retrospect.)
