You had me at Guy Pierce
Reminds me of that Nick Nolte movie where he was a AWOL marine or something down in the Philippines during world war II, and ended up becoming king of some native tribe, and then they end up hunting down some rogue a Japanese battalion or whatever. Don't remember the name of it but it was a pretty good film.

Yeah I don't really care much for various actors but ever since I saw Ravenous in the movie theater back in the what was it late 90s, I'll always been a big fan of his.

The Rover is a fantastic low budget film with the Twilight dude. It's really good and I really watched it maybe a couple of months ago, and I stole stand behind the fact it's a very good movie. It's easily accessible on streaming and totally worth your time.

The proposition is another Australian film that he did that I believe Nick Cave possibly produced but did the soundtrack for, and it's an Australian Western that's pretty goddamn great.

Anyways hes just a very good actor, and apart from being Weyland in Prometheus, which we all know was a stinker, he seems to pick pretty decent films to star in. Kind of like Edward Norton or something.

I love Pearce (not Pierce, btw) but he did this bizarrely awful film called Disturbing the Peace. It was below 80s made for TV quality. It was unfathomably bad and yet Pearce was there being his usual awesome self, doing what he could. I wonder what favor he owed, what mobster threatened his family, or what what huge pile of money was given to him. 3.4 IMDB and somehow an 18% on RT instead of 0%.

Didn’t love it. If you really care about Maori people and watching them do their stupid dance battle, maybe you’ll love it.

Watch Last of the Mohicans instead.

That's disappointing. I just really enjoy period pieces, and this looked promising.
