Still not quite sure what to make of this one as compared to Yorgos's other films but it's definitely better than most of what got released this year. The lack of abject weirdness was actually offputting after seeing this but the three leads did an incredible job even as we find ourselves in the midst of movie after movie being made hamfistedly forcing female leads and selling themselves with only that in mind. It felt very classic in the sense that it's a story about three women but, it's just that and the whole thing does a great job of being a great movie about the subject matter rather than injecting anything unnecessary. Beautiful shots and lighting and the lens changes really define a director making something precise and intentional. Going to definitely have to see this again at home to notice all of the subtleties that I only slightly caught in the theater.
