I love me an epic maritime movie, so I'm in.

Side note the story of the Batavia is fucking bananas. A Dutch East India Co. ship that wrecked off the coast of Australia while hauling a huge amount of silver and jewels. The 300 or so survivors murdered, raped and brutalized one another. Apparently Russel Crowe bought the rights to story which if ever made would likely be a cool movie.
