I bought the full version so I can download playlists. I mostly use it for video so I can get shit for my kids and toss it on plex so they can watch it on TV, but it works equally as well for getting MP3.

I've been using DLNow Video Downloader - YouTube Video and Music Downloader works like a charm.
If Youtube doesn't have it, its trivial to download stuff as an MP3 from soundcloud too.

Offliberty is alright, can rip mp3 or mp4 for video. Been using it for about a year and a half to gif shit. The audio isn't the BEST quality but it's not bad by any means.

Does the free version work? or do you have to get the paid version? I see a tool similiar to this - Freemake - but not sure if it's legit
