Nothing is more convenient than overwhelming power. Do they have an option to just buy a character that has done all the content so you can avoid playing the game entirely? Just roll a character on a live EQ server and give them random gear. You can solo all the content EQL will ever release.

I haven't seen any features of EQL that wouldn't just be better as a TLP if they could code it. Multiclass, whatever OP stuff enables soloing the game and with group sizes of 4? Sure, why not? I'm not paying full price for something i can get by rolling a ranger or druid persona on live.

I'd recommend the Ripple system. It's a squad based litrpg book with a very funny talking axe and straight man MC to make fun of. Good system, lots of humor like Chrysalis and DCC.

Like Arbitrary says a krono is fine. I don't know of any reward granted to someone who pays $ that isn't granted for popping a krono.

Frostreaver is going to be an easy mode loot pinata server with slow unlocks, so you can get multiple personas raid geared before new content releases. EQL is probably going to be similar, just something you can clear content in and quit until more content is released.

Every conventional combo sounds like a ranger, paladin, bard, Shadow Knight or beastlord but stronger. I wonder what combos will be good for a 4box group. Probably doesn't matter since the game will be trivial.

Yeah, live EQ as a proficient 6 boxer is more like a party based ARPG with a very high APM ceiling and fast kill mob speeds (15s). Unfortunately there really isn't a way to make that kind of gameplay accessible to most of the potatoes that play EQ without neutering the game for people like me.

A game holding your interest for a year is a pretty long time. I don't know what about a soloable EQ would hold your interest for longer. Like, once you beat the content why would you farm it without a community to keep the game interesting?

I'm not really sure what to think about EQ Legends, but I hope it's successful. It looks like it was made in the EQ engine?
