Daybreak Sues The Heroes Journey EQ EMU Server Devs

I'm not really sure what to think about EQ Legends, but I hope it's successful. It looks like it was made in the EQ engine?

Star Citizen Online - The search for more money

I'm doing my part, just invested in a few Aurora Mk IIs.

Hmm, maybe I'm confused about the feature but isn't precise jump is just a way for the player to specify a location they are jumping to. The other option is to take the Assassin's Creed approach and let the game decide where you want to jump. This worked well most of the time in Aassassin's...

I would've loved precise jump in Elden Ring. Any of the jumping puzzles in ER felt like playing QWOP This is the easiest jumping puzzle in any game ever, but in Elden Ring it's a complete ball buster.

    One Piece

Yeah. The actors aren't children but they still have a limited amount of time if they want to move the story forward. We don't need a middle aged Luffy finding the one piece.

    Dungeon Crawler Carl

I'm listening to the chrysalis series he narrates and he also adds a tremendous amount of context through the narration. I wonder how much is narrator/producer driven vs the author interacting with the recording process. I guess audiobook sales surpass ebook/book sales for DCC, so it makes sense...

    One Piece

Finished season 2, excellent show. I love how unapologetic they are about aligning to the manga. Smoker with two giant cigars is a great example of them embracing the source material and making it work.

Nice, really good changes that go after exactly the issues I have. [General] Improved the response speed of the interaction UI. [General] Improved the responsiveness of jump inputs. [General] Fixed aiming to target the center of the screen when using a Lantern or while unarmed...

    Crimson Desert

I'm enjoying this game but know ill enjoy it a ton more once they figure out some improvements to the controls. Fortunately I'm going on vacation in a couple of days and will need to spend some time in EQ after. Like, the dumbass mouse + gamepad + foot pedals I use conquers any keyboard piano...

    Everquest - Live Servers

Not really. I'm on Bristlebane in a large guild (Ring of Valor) and can recommend both the server and the guild. But I'm not playing regularly.

    Everquest - Live Servers

Yeah it's a pretty good time to pay for a sub. btw you have until April 20th to take advantage of it. https://www.everquest.com/news/eq-27th-anniversary-2026 I'm planning on popping some krono in a couple of weeks to get some fresh heroics that I've got to get ready for when I play SoR later...

AI: The Rise of the Machines... Or Just a Lot of Overhyped Chatbots?

Arrays vs lists is one of the great "Bike Shed" ( Law of triviality - Wikipedia ) traps of code reviews. Best way to handle those discussions (besides just changing to whatever data structure is appropriate, which is suprisingly array more often than people think...) is to profile the difference...
