I'm sick of people in these positions "learning" things on the job.

You are at the pinnacle of funding and IP, you should be at the pinnacle of your craft and have years of experience learning from the best with some of your own projects under your belt.

This is how it used to work and how it still works in Japan, which is why bookshops are full of translated Japanese manga and gaming libraries full of Japanese games.

They're only granular for Amazon. They're a walking lick. Those bosses sons couldn't negotiate half a right if they tried.

Well, the trailer definitely proves the Annatar part at least.. Morgoth and Ungoliant would be awesome to see but they'd have to be limited to flashbacks, though it's still possibly great visuals. The Blue Wizards is a blank slate, there's almost zero information on what those dudes did in the East (except nothing during the Third Age apparently) so they can just tell whatever story about that.
