That kid sneaking on stage is...something alright. The From guys probably assumed he was part of the event and the event guys probably assumed he was the kid of one of the From guys (despite being an entirely different ethnicity).
Reminds me of situations where groups would have a big meetup at a bar and there'd be a bunch of people who don't know each other, and a random guy could sidle in without much trouble (since the various groups would just assume he was with one of the others). If anyone notices him, he could just say he was "Mike's friend" and probably slip by. I've actually seen guys try to attempt things like this and eventually be found out. I'd wager that most of the time, nobody notices. And if anyone does, they probably won't say anything because they don't want to commit a faux pas.
In any case, I found the whole thing interesting obviously. Though I do think it's good that the kid wasn't someone armed or dangerous, because he was standing right behind Hidetaka Miyazaki for several minutes. People make light of it as being funny, but it was a major security failure.
