Ugh... The guy that did Black Phone and Invisible Man... This is going to be worse than the Jack Nicholson one.

Black Phone and Invisible Man were awesome. The Wolf Man pic I saw that is supposedly from this looks retarded though.

He didn't do The Black Phone

He did Saw, Upgrade, and the Invisible Man. All 3 of those were good. Upgrade was really interesting

Invisible Man... I'm thinking of the wrong movie. I was thinking Hallow Man with Bacon. Upgrade was good and Saw was good.

I recently rewatched American Werewolf in London, first time since I saw it as a kid and it scared the shit out of me, but also was awesome due to Jennifer Agutter. Might be nostalgia but I still loved it.

Probably because it is the best werewolf movie ever made. John Landis master class.

This was fine. Okay to watch but pretty forgettable. Also not a huge fan of the werewolf form.

Face it, boys. Werewolf in London is peak wolf. We won't get any better than that. They tried for decades, they failed. Pack up, pack it in.

Closest I can think of is Dog Soldiers for a top tier werewolf flick but London and the Howling were both 81 and there really hasn't been anything since then to capture that same magic.

This finally came up on my list and I gave it a watch. I would give this a C+ / B-. It wasn't bad, but also wasn't very good. I agree with not liking the monster presentation in this version. The end was drawn out a bit too long for me, I think they could have tightened it up by 10 - 15 minutes and been fine.

Mainly the part after the werewolf fight in the house where it is the father turning on the family and subsequent chase through the woods. We get it, he is losing control.

The main reason I wanted to chime in on this one was the perspective shifting scene / special effects. I enjoyed the back and forth from the human perspective to wolf perspective and vice-versa.
