I knew Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was a hot mess going in but I didn't expect it to be work to get through. Lydia, her manager/finance and Delia were all terrible and on screen a lot in a script that was a hodgepodge of several underdeveloped ideas. Jenna came across like an actual person making...

    Firefly

I'm told the TOS animated series wasn't bad.

    Path of Exile

There should have been a setting added that made it purely a change in coloration with no other effects and it should have been added the league after Delirium. Having it be a thing that layers on top of everything else is ass.

This Is Not a Test (2026)

I didn't realize it was adopted from a book until the opening credits. This starts out doing something that I've really got no time for - single dad that's an abusive piece of shit. Do those people exist? They sure do and fuck them but in current year fem-coded fiction they've become they've...

This Is Not a Test (2026)

Hated it. Got less than 2/3rds of the way through and fast forwarded. I wanted to bail on it immediately and should have.

    Path of Exile

If you're absolutely socket starved and have no points spent on minion stuff on your passive tree you can get through most content with two (AG + Meatshield) provided you're prioritizing gear that keeps him alive instead of trying to squeeze out utility. I went with a doppleganger's guise and a...

    Path of Exile

A couple links and gear all centered around the AG's survival and you can get him to soak 15% of hits for you regardless of build.

    Rick and Morty

I think the technical distinction is episodic (adventure/monster of the week) versus serialized storytelling. Like the old adventure "serials" were the story continued week to week instead of being self contained. They were also called chapter plays.

    Rick and Morty

I think he means the episodes that advance the broader narrative instead of the adventure of the week episodes. Sorta like how the X Files had it's monster episodes and then it's meta narrative conspiracy advancing episodes. Season 8 was better than 7 so let's hope the trend keeps going.

EQ2 beat WoW to market and launched with player housing.

I've never been too proud to Transmute - Alteration - Regal - Vaal to do a map with only two or three irrelevant affixes for an atlas point.

    Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

Let's go back to the day my grandnephew died in that fire that I was sad about during the first act. NOPE

    Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

That movie does not make sense as presented. You can go anywhere at any time and you pick a couple hours before what's his face blowing up a star and annihilating the Enterprise. That also means before you even choose a time and place you've got infinite time to plan and this was the best you...

    Path of Exile

One of the nice things about totems is how modular they are. You're now certified to do any ballista totem in the future should you see a skill you like and there's always Good_Skill_Totem available as a starter. The atlas is way better. I'm not going to miss juggling the maps I get naturally...
